Electrician

A third-generation Blais Electrician, Patrick cares about people. His experience spans electrical challenges presented by homes and buildings built in the late 1800s all the way to new construction. Patrick and his wife started the business in 2013.  Whether you need a custom installation for an unusual device or have a project to be done in stages, Patrick will make it work and recommend the most cost-effective solution.

When he's not on the tools or developing the business, you'll find Patrick speaking French to his two young children, strength training at the gym, mountain biking with his mountain biking group, chasing chickens around his urban backyard, or spending quality time at home hosting friends for backyard cob oven pizza parties.

Ami
dehne

Co-CEO &
Culture and People

Ami is Patrick's wife and a key component to the inner workings of the Blais Electric company.  When Blais Electric first began in 2013, Patrick would perform the electrical work and Ami would perform all the administrator's duties (all from the kitchen table).

Ami's role in the company has evolved as the business has expanded (and children arrived) into solving problems, asking tough questions, noticing inefficiencies, and holding the team accountable to the company's purpose of "being a leader of positive changes in the trades".

When not working, Ami can be found chasing her and Patrick's wild and free children out of trees, mountain biking, entertaining friends in their backyard, running half marathons, gathering community, camping, and both flat and white water canoeing.
